Newlane Crash Replacement Programme
1. Introduction
This Crash Replacement Programme (the “Service”) is operated by Coco Worldwide Ltd (t/a Newlane), including its subsidiaries, partners, directors, employees and authorised representatives (collectively referred to as “Newlane”).
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing or using this Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Newlane may update these Terms from time to time. We recommend checking them periodically to stay aware of any changes. Continued use of the Service after updates have been made will be considered acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Coverage Options
2.1 Standard Coverage
Included with every Newlane helmet purchased directly from wearenewlane.com.
Coverage period: 12 months from purchase.
Replacement benefit: 30% off a new Newlane helmet.
If your helmet is damaged in a crash within the first year, we will provide a discount on a replacement.
2.2 Premium Coverage
Optional upgrade.
Price: £14.90.
Coverage period: 36 months from purchase.
Replacement benefit: 70% off a new Newlane helmet.
Premium Cover extends your protection for three years and significantly reduces the cost of replacing a helmet after a crash.
2.3 Unlimited Coverage
Optional upgrade.
Pricing: £39.90.
Coverage period: 36 months from purchase.
Replacement benefit: 100% off a new Newlane helmet.
If your helmet is involved in a crash during the coverage period, we will provide a replacement Newlane helmet at no cost.
3. Eligibility
Standard Coverage is included with every Newlane helmet purchased directly from wearenewlane.com or an authorised retailer.
Premium and Unlimited Cover are optional upgrades available at the time of purchase or within 10 days of purchase.
4. Conditions for Validity
For a crash to qualify under the Crash Replacement Programme, the following conditions must be met:
- Customers must have a valid, active Coverage (Standard, Premium or Unlimited).
- Customers must document the crashed helmet following guidelines set forth by Newlane.
- Customers must have an order number or receipt for the crashed helmet.
- The SKU in the order must match the damaged helmet being claimed.
- Newlane reserves the right to refuse a claim if there is reasonable evidence of misuse, abuse, fraud, or intentional damage.
5. Mechanics
To claim a replacement, customers must:
- Email customerservice@wearenewlane.com within 30 days of the crash.
- Provide your order number and proof of purchase.
- Document the damaged helmet extensively, as per the below guidelines for review.
- If requested, ship the helmet back to Newlane for verification, at their cost.
6. Documentation Requirements
In order to document the damaged helmet for a valid claim under this Programme, customers must provide Newlane with:
- 1 high-resolution video clearly showing the helmet damage.
- 6 high-resolution photos of the damaged helmet from the following angles: top, left, right, bottom, front and rear.
- 1 high-resolution photo clearly showing the helmet’s internal labelling.
7. Non-Refundable
The Crash Replacement Programme is non-refundable unless Newlane cannot provide a replacement helmet within 40 days of a valid claim being made by the customer.
8. Availability
Replacement helmets are subject to stock availability when the claim is made. Newlane reserves the right to provide the customer with a similar or equivalent model at its discretion.
9. Liability
By using this service, you acknowledge that cycling helmets have a limited lifespan and should be replaced after 36 months of use, even if no crash has occurred and the helmet shows no visible signs of damage. Over time, materials can degrade and may reduce the helmet’s ability to provide protection.
Helmets are designed to absorb impact energy during a crash. In doing so, the helmet may become damaged. This damage indicates that the helmet has performed its protective function and the helmet should be replaced after any impact.
Damage resulting from a crash is not considered a manufacturing defect and is therefore not covered under the standard product warranty. However, it may be eligible under Newlane’s Crash Replacement Programme, subject to the terms of that service.
By using this service, you agree that Newlane (Coco Worldwide Ltd.), its directors, officers, employees, partners and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injuries, losses or damages arising from the use of its products or participation in the service.
You, along with your heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, agree to release and hold Newlane harmless from any claims, liabilities or causes of action related to the use of its products or participation in this service.
You further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Newlane against any claims, suits or actions brought by you or any third party arising from the use of the service or Newlane products, including legal fees and related costs.
Industry guidance commonly recommends replacing cycling helmets every three years (36 months), even if they have not been involved in a crash.

TAILLE ET AJUSTEMENT
TAILLE ET AJUSTEMENT
Il est important de choisir la bonne taille pour votre tête. Pour cela, mesurez la circonférence de votre front jusqu'à la partie la plus large de votre tête.
Le casque est doté d'un dispositif de réglage de la taille à l'arrière qui vous permet de modifier l'ajustement.
Comme pour tout casque, vous devrez peut-être ajuster la longueur et le positionnement de la jugulaire. Nous proposons également une boucle magnétique très facile à utiliser.
