What a Ride!

When we set out to create a revolutionary piece of protective kit, we knew it wouldn’t be easy. But we didn’t realise just how hard it would be! 

This timeline and the short summary below is a snapshot of the rollercoaster we've been riding for the last seven years.  

From our first sketch to holding a fully certified helmet ready for mass production, the journey has pushed us to the edge more times than we can count - and we’ve nearly shut the business down five times!

Over the past seven years, we’ve faced every challenge head-on: from designing a product that’s as safe as it is user-friendly, refining prototypes and tooling through countless iterations, securing patents across multiple regions, and building a sustainable UK-based manufacturing process. Oh and we’ve been raising investment the entire time too. 

But the moment that made it all worthwhile was on December 18th 2023 at 1:38 PM. We got the news that the helmet had finally passed the rigorous EN 1078 EU safety tests. It was a crazy day for us!

From there, it was full steam ahead, prepping every detail to launch ‘our baby’ into the world. Fittingly, nine months later the helmet went on sale.  

This has been no ordinary journey - it’s been a testament to persistence, problem-solving, and a refusal to give up on what we believe in.
